General Information:

1. Online registration will be closed on May 31, 2023, after Jun. 1, please register on-site.
2. UGIRA Member: Please use your special code that UGIRA sends to individual members when you register. If you didn't receive the special code from UGIRA’s email, please check your spam or contact Lianne (info@ugira.org) to get your special code for UGIRA member rate.
3. Participants are strongly requested to register for the congress individually via the Online Registration System on the UGIRA 2023 website to secure the best rate.
4. All payments will be made in New Taiwan Dollars.
5. Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the congress secretariat according to the deadline indicated. An email confirming registration will only be sent after receipt of the required fees. Outstanding payments will be collected and charged the late rate.
6. To be entitled to the early bird registration rates, payment must be completed by Apr. 1, 2023 (23:59 GMT+8).
7. In order to present an abstract, it is highly recommended that you complete the online registration right after your abstract submission. The congress has the right to remove the abstracts/papers from the final program if the author fails to register and complete the payment before Apr. 1, 2023.
8. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions.
9. For group registration (10 participants and more), please contact the congress secretariat for a special rate.

Confirmation of registration will be sent via email within 30 minutes to confirm your application. If you fail to receive it, please contact ugira.taiwan@gmail.com before you try to register again.

Payment Methods

1. Payment of the registration fee can only be made by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, and JCB).
2. All service charges of credit cards are to be paid by the registrants.
3. The merchant name on your credit card statement will be displayed as Taiwan Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
4. The receipt can be downloaded on My Account page after the payment has been made.
5. For On-site registration, Cash (NTD) or Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, and JCB) can be accepted.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Notification:

1. The congress secretariat office must be notified in writing of cancellation of registration by email (ugira.taiwan@gmail.com).
2. All bank service charges and all administration fees will be deducted from all congress registration refunds.
3. Refunds will be initiated after the congress is finished.
4. Refund timing varies by your credit card company.
