It is an honor and a great privilege for us to welcome you to the first congress of the Upper GI International Robotic Association (UGIRA) on June 9-11, 2023. This congress will take place in conjunction with the 6th Annual Meeting of the Taiwan Society of Thoracic Surgery, to be held in Taipei, Taiwan.
We are delighted to present to you an innovative program that will mean a great leap ahead into the future of robotic Upper GI surgery, including new technologies, image-guided surgery and artificial intelligence. The industrial exhibition will feature all new robotic companies currently emerging.
After 3 years of on-line events, we are convinced that you will enjoy the scientific program, as well as meeting friends, senior researchers and top-notch experts from all relevant fields in person. We are equally sure you will enjoy the great hospitality of the local organizers in Taiwan. Throughout spring and summer, the island of Taiwan is in full bloom, with many places to visit and marvel at the see gorgeous flowers. The venue of the congress, is located in the very center of Taiwan’s capital, from which there are many options to explore this attractive city and the rest of the beautiful country.
Taiwan is easily accessible for foreign travelers with 700+ flights arriving and departing every day. Also, Taiwan consistently scores high in international report about safety to travel.
